james sollazzo Roger Daltrey can still belt B4’s and hit high C’s and D’s. He doesn’t do the wailing required for songs like Young Man Blues, Water and Drowned, but the Who haven’t performed those songs for years. If you compare this vocal to a live version of this song from the early 80’s, I’d say this was better. I’m almost certain this is the same key as the original too

I wasn't there, but I heard there were some issues for the first few numbers, no sound check time available etc. I saw them at the IOW festival a couple of years back, was the best gig of my life, never heard anything sound that good!

I think he does a great job of trying to fill Keith Moon's impossible shoes. Zak seems to have come into his own when we were not watching. Fully upholds his Dad's standards, and then some.
