This is NOT 1969. Its 1975. I know. I was in the audience as a kid!
seriously?
Para ser sincera, es la única canción que me gusta de elton john, pero para mí es la mejor de la película
Elton John ist super ich finde den Rockoper Tommy geil
Awful film
This is just bloody brilliant, so proud to be English we produced the best music
People who were young back in the day: were you THIS excited about pinball?
We were. Dark, smokey pinball dens, adoring fans. We had everything!
https://youtu.be/22NncoF1qO8 here are tommy film locations
2 0 1 9?
Song released in1969. Film is dated 1975.
With boots that large, I’m wondering how Elton John managed to fall over in the first place?
Elton made this movie unforgettable
Rod Stewart still hate that
The fuck with the dumb pitch change.
Ready good,fuckin awesome 😛
Skegness !
Poster boys of substance abuse and vandalism
Who is the random guy that walks past Pete Townshend when he jumps forward? Lol..
Tommy playing the pinball machine is so psychedelic
wait, what's EJ doing in The Who?
is that Elton Toilet ??
Just revisiting this one because tonight I went to see "Rocketman" the Elton John movie. Fatastic film and Taron Egerton is great in the role!
If filming this scene isn’t in Rocketman I ain’t watching it
It wasn't :(
Arttu partan3n I’ll cancel the tickets
Die Mädchen sind jetzt 70 ...
Simplesmente........ PERFEITO!
タイトルがTommy - 1969となっていますが映画版は1975年のはずです
elton jon...what a loser and what a mistake to have him in this...sorry folks. could never stomach this guy
🖤🖤🎶🖤🖤
More like 1975.
Pinball Wizard was released as a single in 1969 from the album "Tommy"...This sequence filmed in 1975 from the movie.
It goes to show what a good song this is when the three main versions are all very different but all on parr with each other! I love the who's original I love Rod Stewart's stage version and Eltons movie version! Awesome song
I smell it.
He has talent.
[THE PINBALL WIZARD]Ever since I was a young boy,I've played the silver ball. From SoHo down to Brighton,I must have played them all.But I ain't seen nothin' like himIn any amusement hall. That deaf, dumb and blind kidSure plays a mean pinball. He stands like a statue,Becomes part of the machine.Feelin' all the bumpers,Always playin' clean. He plays by intuition. The digit counters fall. That deaf, dumb and blind kidSure plays a mean pinball. He's a pinball wizard,There has to be a twist.A pinball wizard,Got such a supple wrist![REPORTER]How do you think he does it?[PINBALL WIZARD]I don't know![REPORTER]What makes him so good?[PINBALL WIZARD]Well, he ain't got no distractions,Can't hear no buzzers and bells.Don't see lights a-flashing,He plays by sense of smell.Always has a replay,Never tilts at all,That deaf, dumb and blind kidSure plays a mean pinball. He can't beat me now,I've always been the champ!I know it's a trick! No freak's gonna beat my hand!He can beat my favorite table,He can beat the best. His disciples lead him in,And he just does the rest. He's got crazy flipper fingers,I've never seen them fall. That deaf, dumb and blind kidSure plays a mean pinball. He's a pinball wizardThere has to be a twist.A pinball wizard,Got such a supple wrist! He's a pinball wizardHe scores a trillion more!A pinball wizard,The world's new pinball lord! He's scoring more! He's scoring more!I thought I was the Bally table king,But I just handed my pinball crown to him.To him! To him!
The Movie is 1975, the original album by the Who 1969
Génial j'ai encore des frissons depuis cette époque !
Best video ever!! The Who and Enton!!!
Love I’m Free video in Tommy too!
0:37 Elton is clearly using Modded controller 🎮 here in this scene
Sr Elton is so much nostalgic in 00:06 - 00:10 😢 makes me wants be lived in 70's
Always loved this version. Definitely not Keith Moon on drums. Presumably Elton's own band.
Wait...So he was actually deaf and blind in the movie???I haven't seen it.
I want to see Taron Egerton perform this.
Roger Daltrey 😂
I remember seeing a play centered around this.
когда верка сердючка еще не родилось!
do you now i always it was subtle and not supple. and i love pinball. even if i ain't no wizard
Fenómeno che!!!!
Muito bom
Perfection
you can say wat you want... elton did cocain better than the most :D but good for him to get over it
despacito 3
It's funny watching the mainly one-way interplay between Daltrey and Elton John. Roger seems happy out at his pinball machine and Elton John is all anger and resentment. I reckon few men could fulminate at Roger Daltrey for that length of time without getting lamped. Great song and video.
This video is the whole seventies in a subatomic nutshell.
Phodaaaaaa
Bent prick ruined a great song
I was 11 when my school took us to see this in the theatre .. the toilet seat terrified me.They then took me to see "Earthquake' later, that terrified me too! School was different back then..
in 70s, the most lavish thing, the biggest fantasy, the highest social status was to have the tv in a wall, so that you can see the screen only.
Awesome
"I thought I was the Bally table king". No you're not because you are both playing on Gottlieb tables.
Rock on Tommy Robinson!
18.03.18
i saw the who in t he kinema in dunfermline about 19 69 or 70 what a riot that was brilliant keith moon was mental so were we fighting anywhere and everywhere smokin
Go boys, trash that gear!!!!!
Proper, better upload than t'other (sic.). Seems a little faster than I remember.
Before the internet there was music, theatre and imagination. The Who and Elton hit a peak on this video.
First Handycap integration Musical
i love this song! btw its 1975 not 1969!!!
The woman at the end of the video is tidy!
This song belongs to Elton lol
KARACAS!!! ELTON JOHN NOVINHO, KKKKKKKK SHOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
1969 is wrong old chap. A few more years later perhaps? Otherwise - great song! x
O vocalista ai não é o Elton Jhon?
This reminds me of Yellow Submarine a movie that have drug references and a whole get a role a the protagonist
No me gustan las canciones de elton yon
Y los instrumentos del grupo a qué horas van a oirse ?
he sounds like a woman
The pinball dude looks like hes traumatised
PercyMagnus45 Buddy, he got abused by his sadistic cousin and molested by his uncle
Hes deaf, dumb, and blind.
Yes, children, before there was PlayStation and Nintendo, there was pinball.
Elton John was crazy talented.
I was the Sussex University asteroids king for a while so i can kind of relate quite well.
I love this version
Sounds too fast.
it Deffo was not 69 more like mid 70s
que grande el narigon!!!.. le gano a Elton John jugando al flipper
Tommy the movie from 1975
I remember this song. It was a Top 10 Hit in the UK in 1976.
Frickin great! Britannia rules the waves!P.S.: The latest thing for trendsetters at that time: ultrasound TV remote controls.
I would love to turn up to my day job for a meeting with a client, wearing my formal Hugo Boss suit, shirt and tie, with those boots on.What can't life be like that ?
Thanks my Friends ! The Song is Wonderful
hmm lekker
I can't stand Elton John. If you're famous and currently famous, he's your friend. Otherwise ...
Elton John= a degree in kissing ass.
Fuckin hate him
HURENSOHN
2:25 - 2:55 Best part.
