Is anyone else listening to this in 1973?
Soooooooooooooooo good!
I saw the who in 1987 in San Diego California. That was the last time they did the rock opera Tommy..🎸🎹🎶🎵🎤
I stumbled across this song in a drunken stupor of playing a Rolling Stones playlist and I just want to say that I am SO GLAD I stumbled upon this at this very moment. I'm a new fan of The Who.
The Who is life.
my dad gave me this on vinyl and i heard it on that, the most momentous song out there
This was a good movie..adam sandler was made for drama..not comedy
😥😆
LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!
Here because i remembered adam sandlers reign over me movie, the part when he was at the court and it was just sad..this music makes monsters tear up..
Thank you...

the best drummer in the worldrip keith moon the loon
This is the best version obviously but as a pearl jam fan Iike their version as well
The greatest vocals in a song ever, bar none. My god.
Life was so much simpler when the Who had the answers to all my problems.
🇧🇷❤🤘2019 the who Forever 🤘
What a shame he gave up on love for Brexit which is about wealthy elites who hate rules and hatred of foreigners. Some men don't grow up well.
Pete Townsend is for Brexit ?
Good stuff
Sometimes, in a fair and pleasant mood, I try to understand and appreciate modern pop music. It lasts a few minutes at best, before I hear something like this, and I'm reminded that there is nothing real, but rock 'n' roll.
This song is the theme tune to my life. I've been searching for that true and lasting connection my whole life. Every time I think I find it, it's snatched away from me. I've struggled with compulsive drug use a lot of my life. That thing of feeling love and then it being gone along with the constant comedowns. It fucking destroys your soul. I feel like Jimmy at the end of Quadrophenia. Somebody out there will read this and cry because they feel the same pain.
Dude, as an older guy compared to you, life has different phases. Ten years from now as girls lose their hot looks things change and they chase you. Be as successful as you can, enjoy the freedom of being single. Don't chase, be hard to get, not desperate. Life unfolds let it happen.
Used to listen to this many many years ago with the same thoughts as you. All I can say is Hang on and do your thing, be yourself. Life has a way of coming through, but you can't force it. For me, the finding was that much of what I was looking for was already there, I just wasn't seeing it. And always remember, the one that matters the most is the one you see when you look in a mirror.
Thanks guys. Much appreciation for taking the time to reply. It means a lot.
⬆️💙❤️
For all those people that say Keith Moon couldn't play in 6/8 wrong, this is in 6/8, sounds pretty good to me.
AWESOME
This has always been my favorite Who song. Kick ass music and the vocals are superb along with the Lyrics!
losing what i had felt anchored, despair had me weightless in life~ 1999, i wouldn't have still known myself for another 6 years 2005
Someone please tell if there is ANY new rock music like this? What do we have today...... girls singing pop songs... Taylor Who?
There probably isn't - but 'the war on drugs' and 'empire of the sun' do have some great 'modern music , rock etc. I grew up with the who , and i love the old stuff - but man some of the new bands tho hard to find sometimes have fantastic stuff. We just can't totally live in the past . Give it a listen , this song has gorgeous melodies https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hN5X4kGhAtU & ''Thinking of a place'' is just amazing .
Pooooooooop

Oh thank you!!!!
Ahh yess. Music; Remember when?.
Just saw them live in Atlanta last night. This is my new favorite Who song
I love love love this song
Best Who song ever
What can u say about this song? Speechless . Perfection
LINDA ALONSO I saw them at Fenway Park on Friday night and they were amazing. Roger sounded amazing
This right here is why roger daltrey is my favourite singer
I like little details. Townsend said that Daltrey had doubts about the song. Then he paused and said something like, "But give him his dues, he put his balls into it when he sang it".
Love it
Cool hand Luke
My teacher brought me here...:) he know good music
I've thought long and hard about what makes art. And I've come to the conclusion that it abut mastering a craft. And the boys from the WHO who masters at their craft. Imagine watching them jam live. The pure energy and human aggression.
Yeah Pearl Jams cover sucks, never ever been a fan of Pearl Jam though
Actually this may be the best song on quadrophenia, and that's saying a lot!
Wonder if r Kelly's "victims" sang this song while he peed on them lol. what a weird world. On to "what I got" by Sublime
Towards the end, when Townshend sets that pick on its edge! Errrrrrrrrr!!!!!!
Saw The Who last night at Alpine Valley and when the piano started for the song, it began to rain, it was quite beautiful. They could still move you with the music.
It sucks when you have all the CD's of the Who and they quit putting players in new cars..
I loved this song so much when It came out. Still do. 2019!
Mods and Rockers.
Only the cool ones such as us understand true rock & roll. This song and this band rate at the pinnacle of greatness. Who forever. When Quadrophenia came out in 74 it blew my shit away. We would get stoned and trip off this sound. It was majestic .
Beautiful, powerful song!
Teenage Angst at its finest, nobody did it better than Quadrophenia.
A classic
What a great song....Saw the WHO last night and he still nailed this song. Iconic Group
I am here hoping to see the sad, misguided and uncultured faces of the 956 souls ( as of 9/3/18, 11:39 EST) who thumbed down this hit song from one the top 20 rock groups of all time. But they're anonymous, as you'd expect.

LOVE REIGN OVER ME ❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I like both.
The Who: Maximum R & B, still is!
The fact that I know that today's music sucks and yesterday's music doesn't brought me here.
this is a great classic of so much joy! cant believe how many artists theyve influenced!
God this song brings out so many emotions ..all my hairs stood on end , and the ending reduced me to a blubbering wreck....
If you was a mod in the 60's, and owned a Lambretta scooter with loads of mirrors and lights.....You sir.... Was one of the coolest people that ever lived!I bow to thee!
Quadraphinia brought me here!
Pete planted the flag on Mt Rock Opera
I have it heard yesterday for the first time , and can't stop it . It's unforgetable , phantastic !
I have to say.....til the day I die..........
Til the day
This song gives me chills, everytime i hear Daltrey singing/screaming "Love, Reign O'er Me" towards then end is definetly just amaizng, this song is definetly my favorite of all time, too beautiful, i remember listening to this while watching a sunrise, beautiful.
