no he didnt choose to leave willingly, or of his choice,, they bought him a ticket back home and kicked him out after waking him up abruptly from a hangover pass out sleep state. go watch the documentary on it,, in his and their own words. they all voted to kick him out. no choice. and he was resentful etc about this for many many years but now they have been well past it and good for many years now. we wouldnt have megadeth and how its been if this did not happen. and even thoguh he knew he wasnt a greaty singer they didnt have one available at the time so he did it himself, and stayed with it,.

I get the sentiment, but trophy hunting isn't what's destroying animal populations, it's poaching. In fact, the money made from trophy hunting is actually used to preserve endangered species. I'd still never do it, but getting rid of it would sadly only make the problem worse.

@goaway I don't like it either, but our feelings on the issue don't change the fact that trophy hunting is the only thing keeping many endangered species alive. The money made from trophy hunting is used to build fences to keep the animals in one place, so it's easier to prevent poaching, and for other methods to protect the animals. The rest of it is given to the community of the town. The townspeople therefore have a vested interest in stopping poachers, where before they were probably indifferent. If you have a better plan, why not bring it up to the government of the countries were trophy hunting is done? I for one would love to see it replaced with an alternative in which no animals have to die.

Countdown is way better. Love Metallica and love the Black Album, but Unforgiven is just kinda boring and too overplayed. Megadeth has always been way better at writing ballads and epics, but both bands are amazing.

I cannot listen to this without bursting to tears. Touches me very deeply, cause I have seen films about canned hunting when lions are ruthlessly shot to death like they were some trash. Just cannot take it. I love lions, I love wildlife. Too much for me. I´d wish Dave Mustaine do more animal rights songs, since he seems to be able to handle the subject with some real feeling. I´d recommend he watch the film Earthlings and Cowspiracy and many more...
