I read on wikipedia that this was shot in August 1992. I remember being hypnotised by it on MTV. The feeling of distance is harrowing now. Still an incredible song and video.

I remember seeing this video and hearing the sing for the first time in a HMV store so long ago (that's how we got music in the old day kids!) And I just stood... Transfixed... And watched the whole thing.This song has a very special meaning to me and the album still comes out every once in a while when I need to feel like I did back then! Awesome music!

This is my favorite song of R.E.M. And it's also a really good driving song. But i think that this video could have been much better if we could have seen the band play this beautiful song instead. So i just think it's best to lay down close my eyes and just listen to this beautiful song instead of watching the video.
