Metallica - The Day That Never

This song was super deep to me when it came out. I was 20ish, still living at home and my parents where going thru a super fucked up situation. My mom was cheating on my dad, and he was pissed. He slapped her around a bit, but nothing that no man would think was too much. Can you imagine a woman you were married to 20+ years cheating? Anyways, life was hell at home. I understood my dad, but still felt sympathy for my mom. It was unbearable. Then this new single dropped. It was like they knew what I was seeing day in and out. Metallica has been there to carry me thru so many life events. Listening to this song now weeping about the past. Keep it up my dudes, you’ll never know how much you help people get thru the shit in their lives.

Seeing how the members of the band aged,...scary.But their music will never get old it's gonna stay forever.Classical masterpieces in their genre that pretty much defined it for me.Legends among men.

I am a big fan of metallica and im 16 but im surprised i never bothered to listen to this album. I have only listened to master of puppets album,ride the lightning,justice for all...,black album,kill em all and i think thats it. I think their is one more but forgot the name of album or unless thats all the albums i listened to lol.Edit: o ya i remember now lmao. I remember the one more. @Dustin McFarland I already have. I own it, actually. I don't particularly care for it though, because the only 3 songs I listen to are The Four Horsemen, Jump In The Fire, and Seek & Destroy. Granted, they are good songs.
