I was born yesterday and I listen to Mozart
When youre listening to a ice piece of music and an advert for Grammarly comes on.
“Juuuuullliieeetttttttt!!!!!!”
There will never be another Mozart, his ability was far beyond that of any other.
I'm a fangirl of a lot of artist, diferents musical genres... But before i was born i was alredy listening to Mozart. I really love music and i can't have a favorite song or a favorite artist ( i actually have a favorite band, but just that), but i'm so secure of one thing, instrumental music is my favorite
Lots of interesting comments below, some very perceptive but also a lot of nonsense - I offer a few thoughts!I’ve no quibble with any listener saying they enjoy the work, that is everyone’s personal choice and no business of anyone else; this is a fantastic effort from the young Mozart - he injects some real, almost theatrical drama into the faster movements and certainly, post-Amadeus, this has become deservedly, a very well-known opening to a first movement. My problem comes with listeners then allowing their love of the piece to cloud their judgement of the work by describing it with various superlatives such as ‘masterpiece’ and ‘best symphony’, and so forth; it is no such thing. This work, composed in 1773, is is Mozart’s one-off shot at a ‘sturm und drang’ style symphony; it is closely modelled on Haydn’s 39 (1767), even down to the pairs of horns in G and B flat. Along with Vanhal’s first g minor symphony (g1, written in 1771), and JC Bach’s Opus 6 No 6 (1769/70), both of which Mozart probably heard in Vienna, he set about writing a stormy work in this fashionable style. The style did not particularly suit Mozart in the way it did Haydn for example and he never wrote another minor key work of this type; the minor key music of Don Giovanni, Symphony 40 or the late g minor string quintet (K516), is something entirely different and very personal and unique to Mozart. This symphony, whilst sturm und drang, is also clearly Mozart, it lacks the jagged edges and spikiness of some of Haydn’s works in this style, and has the quintessentially Mozartian elegance and poise; it does not escape musicologists criticisms, perhaps best summed up by ‘lacking balance’.This symphony is the earliest of a relatively small number that are performed regularly: 25, 28, 29, 31, 35, 36, 38, 39, 40, 41; rather like the ‘Paris’ symphony (No 31, another spectacular but over-rated work), it is a symphony to be enjoyed and Mozart creates some wonderful sounds, but let’s leave the out the hyperbole. Under scrutiny, Mozart wrote far greater ‘masterpieces’ and this is not his ‘best symphony’. Enjoy it for what it is, not what you think it might be.
Erfrischendes Tempo. :) Hab es auch schon lahmer gehört. :(
I think this is the best symphony
sounds like Brittany spears.
845 people disliked this .Zero appreciation of this masterpiece that was composed at age of 17 so we can enjoy it after 240 years later...
Mozart and Beethoven live forever
Feluda kothay ?🤔
This is not G nor Ab, its outta tune?
why people dislike a music video they have the option to dont listen to, like wtf get some job fuckin retardeds.sry for the english anyway is a little bad
This version sounds like Ab minor, not G minor
This is out of tune
I have no idea about this kind of music as I was not aware of such music because I grew up where punk rock and rock music was trend. But tbh this is soothing to ears.
Good morning to you all Mozarians!May you have an amazing day!
I sat in my room moving my hands to the voilins...my dogs freaked out.
Amadeus did a great disservice to both Mozart and Salieri as they were known to be respected contemporaries of each other. One thing from the movie is true though. At the time Salieri was considered the premier composer of opera sung in Italian. That of course changed forever after Figaro.
Wow thumbs down for the ad at 35 seconds in!
this was when Mozart peaked
I would say he died before his "peak"...Unfortunately
@Fatal yeah, I don't know why I made that comment :D, I found much better music from Mozart since then.
I love Classical Music, but do you know what I also love?Youtube accounts named after Classical music commenting on the music corresponding to their name
JOHANNES BRAHMS (1896): "I always find Beethoven's C Minor concerto (the Third Piano Concerto) much smaller and weaker than Mozart's. . . . I realize that Beethoven's new personality and his new vision, which people recognized in his works, made him the greater composer in their minds. But after fifty years, our views need more perspective. One must be able to distinguish between the charm that comes from newness and the value that is intrinsic to a work. I admit that Beethoven's concerto is more modern, but not more significant!I also realize that Beethoven's First Symphony made a strong impression on people. That's the nature of a new vision. But the last three Mozart symphonies are far more significant. . . . Yes, the Rasumovsky quartets, the later symphonies—these inhabit a significant new world, one already hinted at in his Second Symphony. But what is much weaker in Beethoven compared to Mozart, and especially compared to Sebastian Bach, is the use of dissonance. Dissonance, true dissonance as Mozart used it, is not to be found in Beethoven. Look at Idomeneo. Not only is it a marvel, but as Mozart was still quite young and brash when he wrote it, it was a completely new thing. What marvelous dissonance! What harmony! You couldn't commission great music from Beethoven since he created only lesser works on commission—his more conventional pieces, his variations and the like. When Haydn or Mozart wrote on commission, it was the same as their other works."https://books.google.ca/books?id=7iwZ-qTuSkUC&pg=PA134https://books.google.ca/books?id=7iwZ-qTuSkUC&pg=PA135

👑👑👑
Mozart, Tesla, Alexander the great, SocratisThe super genius people
Honestly:This masterly piece of music was written a quarter of a thousand years ago:But is it possible to compose music more dramatic, more emotional, and at the same time more excitingly cheerful? The sequences starting at 4:19 alone would be a perfectly exciting film music that nobody has used before.....and he wrote it - by the way - at the age of 17...He was an absolutely brilliant genius!
K183, Mozart 17
Anyone else wondering whether Mozart threw his hair back and forth like a rock star when he would play?

Awesome
Hahhh!! Obviously a miserable copy of Children of Bodom - Red Light In My Eyes !!
Thanks god... mozart made real and true music instead of those of nowadays. Amen
This is my all-time favourite Mozart symphony, especially this key is in G minor, and it`s beautifully performed and I probably say that they are so many recordings of this work amongst them would be like Academy of St.Martin in the Fields conducted by Neville Marriner or Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Leonard Bernstein or English Chamber Orchestra conducted by Benjamin Britten, which are my all-time favourite performers, who originally released in vinyl before reissued on CD.
Briliant!!!
Amadeus o2jam anyone ?
I feel anxiety in it, and this is so dramatic
The titan watch ads brought me here😃😃
It's awesome! Wonderful! Mozart is belissimo!
Titan watch ringtone
This is the most beautiful and brilliant piece of music ever written by a human being.
What a great piece of work and art is this masterpiece of man! I listened to it last night when I saw for the first time 'Revenge' (2017) when she consumes peyote and she changes and reborn to her vengeful and chaotic form... This song really portrayed amazingly that scene when a dark demonic laugh is heard and she thinks she's going insane and this song plays in the background.... Omfg.... Classical music is out of this fucking universe and yet so underrated by the new generations in a very disgustingly way tbh!!!!

Fabian Cancellara 😎🚴♀️
16th century niggas:
Damn, he made this at 17? Just kill me then.
Having listened to orchestral music for all of my life, I've come to the conclusion that there are two kind of people in the world - those who think that Beethoven was the most brilliant composer ever and those who think it was Mozart. I'm a Mozartian. No one else has ever had so many talents all at once AND who had more style and class than a million other people combined. He was and always will be the greatest composer of all time.
Reklamlardan müziği dinleyemedim. Reklam almasanız olmaz mı?
that piece and the number 9 piano concerto, the birth of a genius.
carlo gonzalez loves hisshi
J'adore cette musique merci
Pft, It's Not That "Good"!
Mozart did write a lot of junk - mostly commissioned. But when he decided to write music, there was none like him. This is so beautiful/
Actually I call this song AMADEUS
Tonedeff anyone?
I miss the 90s.
Hey this is just something to think about

Greece! I love mozart but also love Japan!
Music at 6:36 is entirely different feeling
That woodwind crescendo at 5:02 has always been hair-raising and wonderful for me.
He had been playing and writing music even as a small child..by 17 is was a master..and incidentally a genius.
Incredible.
Super Second Movement ... especially @ 8:18
Not bad, not bad at all. Personally I prefer Justin Bieber but this isn't too bad
Before music was tainted
Mozart was definitely better then Beethoven. I love ode to Joy, that my favorite song but all Mozart songs out due Beethoven 10 to 1. Mozart if far better as the rest of Beethoven can't compete to Mozart.
