It was used in the movie 'Gallipoli'. The other part of soundtrack was Jean Michel Jarre, Oxygen . All awesome music.

This piece perfectly captured the beauty and sorrow at that end scene. I heard this piece on the radio, and came here to try and remember what the movie was... I knew I had watched it recently, and when I worked it out, I went and watched that end scene and cried my eyes out.

There is no doubt in my mind that the 5000 supposedly dislikes were in fact errors...compared to the total views of 37,004,494, such a judgement seems very acceptable.

A cat comes to my place when it's cold or raining, just to say hello I guess. But she snuggles up on the cushions on my sofa in front of the log fire, listening to this or the waltz of the flowers, Acker Bilk etc. I watch as her ears twitch and she curls-up cosy. I don't know her name, but she likes hanging out listening to classical music. Then in the morning she comes upstairs, jumps on my bed and wakes me up by running her claws (gently) through my hair. This is one of the cat's favourite tunes.

Beautifull, but It is a fake. It is not by Albinoni but was composed aproximately 60 years ago...

The kind of music for tears and sorrows for bad suffering days of melancholy. Sad but beautiful.

Normally I listen to very active and aggressive music including almost every musical style including metal, classic rock, punk, Industrial, Goth, New Wave, EDM, electronic, ambient, reggae, dancehall, rap, trap, trip-hop, hip-hop, bounce, screw, classic country, alternative, funk, disco, basically anything....But this is one of many classical masterpieces that I find solace in when I just need to think and meditate, such a lovely piece that many find sad, but I love it, every progression and chord change. Each pause adding to the strength of the piece. I love music as much as LOVE.
