You know how you mishear lyrics in songs sometimes? Years ago I used to think "just a matter of time till you find" was "just a matter of time till your mine", and thought this song was actually gay, but in a unusually (for the time at least) casual way lol. Admittedly I didn't know who Carrie Underwood is, probably didn't know this was her song, and I still barely know anything about her, I don't usually follow artists. When I did realize who was singing it I double checked and realized I wasn't hearing it right. I just learned on the radio that I've also been mishearing a line from 'Blinded by the Light'.
