I got it today finally. The native american guy is an old shaman who is either a dead or alive spirit. In the first frame we see him looking at a guy in a glider in a confused manner. He is confused as to how crazy the modern man has become that he needs to make these huge big instruments to fly [or rather 'glide']. He knows that his people have used a much more sophisticated, natural and simpler method to fly - turn yourself into a bird. This common native amercian animal spirit magic normal for him and therefore the glider seems like a waste of energy and material to him. Out in the field his descendant is shown holding huge reaper to work in the farms for money and food. The instrument he is using is exaggeratedly big because farming and working hard to make money too, is quite a load of nonsense to the native guy who lives in a vibration of abundance..a place where nature and mother Earth provide for all his needs so he would be free to roam the Earth without worrying about daily needs (God will provide. Put God first and all that you need shall be added unto you) and not stuck in one place. Finally he somehow influences his descendant and teaches him the old shaman animal spirit magic. He uses 2 bird feathers to perform this transforming magic and takes the leap of faith that will break him free from old mental constructs and false belief systems that need to be broken in order to perform ancient magic. He succeeds in doing so and turns into an eagle. Of course the core meaning is - The modern man's sleep(living in denial of his feelings and fear of survival), his dependency on material things and his expansion of consciousness which will finally wake him up and free him from this sleep.

Discovered Pink Floyd and this album in particular in 1992 while chilling in a friend's garage when I was just 17, it became a firm favourite for our garage sessions.  The nostalgia it evokes is unreal.

2019 learning to fly

Hi im 13 yo and i will bd happy yo pass this music to next generations. I know lot of kids of my age listen to modern music but they just don know Pink Floyd.

2007... I met someone who was a pilot. When he played this...it was awesome. We went together off and on for about a year, then he said he was taking a job in Denver, so far away. Listening to this now is so nostalgic. I went on to find my prince...then HE returned...but I was already taken...and I have not regretted it, not even once. Things happen for a reason. And at my age, I am still learning to fly....

TO BE A PILOT....THAT WAS ....AND IS...MY HIGHER GOAL......YEEE.....
