On the bottom of the album cover, 2nd row from bottom, third from right, is that Ric Flair? Eddie & Ric what a tag team!
Is mike mccready even playing guitar on this song?, sounds like all stone gossard.
I first heard this song when I was 16 about 15 years ago, so around 2004. I was cutting grass all day long in the summer sun and I was flipping through their greatest hits album on my cd player whilst I cut the grass. This song popped up and I can vividly remember being caught up in the music and breathing in the summer air. This song transports me back to that time when I listen to it and I remember why I love Pearl Jams music so much.
A forever classic!
PJ's ode to Prince's "Around the World in a Day?"
Thank you Eddie
Man Eddie those guys could write a fuckin song. I bet that's most misunderstood song 🤔up there at least hail, hail... yellow Ledbetter. Who knew that's what he was saying when was trying keep up first come out ?? Lol means more now 2019 and PJ still best music ever. ✌😉👍😇
thank you, Mr. Gossard, for enriching our world.

JEFF: hey Ed, that line about being in the mud...what exactly do u mean by that?ED: (sigh)....Well, u see Jeff that's like the 'moss' I wrote about earlier in the song .JEFF: oh, okay.....but maybe u should make that a little more clear ED: (rolls eyes)good idea Jeff, I think I will"Off the tracks in the mud.....that's the moss in the aforementioned verse."

the "american native indian" is an ever evolving concept and eddie vedder symblifies that spirit as good as anyone.
JACK IRONS

hit the down arrow brotha
christopher perry you ain't that bright are ya lol
♡♥♥
This song is to Pearl Jam what "Head Down" is to Soundgarden.
I feel that Head Down is very dark, this one is so positive and brighter don't you feel? ...at least both songs have amazing drums
I guess Pearl Jam is more positive and brighter as a band than Soundgarden. Love em both the same!
One of the very few PJ songs where Eddie breaks his sacred "No Baking Vocals We Cant Do Live" rule. Nice to have "Two Eddies" some times. :DJUST A LITTLE TIME >.....................................BEFORE WE LEAVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
te amo pearl jam me llevan desde siempre a lugares distintos pero bellisimos de recorrer.... geniales ----el equilibrio esta en sus causes.
DONT BE ANTI-GUN.
These lyrics just remind me of an ordinary day while taking a spin in the old car. Mundane yet don't we all understand.
This song needs bagpipes...
+gimme2utah1 weh weh weh bingadi bongady MUTHA FUUUKAAAA!!!!
Love this song!!!!
Great song LOVE pearl jam!
just fucking listen...its called MUSIC
Love no code, the best album as a whole!!!!
the best indeed!
Are you serious? That's their weakest effort. It is still a quality album, but "Ten", "Vs." and "Vitology" are superior efforts. This song, however, is probably my 2nd or 3rd fav PJ tune ever.
whole No Code album is a great trip... this one kicks me out of the ground...>.<
i first heard this when my dad was kicking the shit out of me to the tempo
OMG that's so beautiful !!!
wrong "they're"kickass song tho.
Lovee this song ! I can play it on my guitar !<3
This is my favorite pearl jam song. So peaceful.
from wikipedia: ...Vedder has admitted that the choice of "Who You Are" as the first single for No Code was a "conscious decision" intended to keep the size of the band's audience down...Mission accomplished.
Shit, I'm just now finding out about this pearl jam stuffwhy back in my day, it had a whole other meaning.
This song is pretty gay. Kind of catchy though. Only two listenable songs on this album. They didnt have much choice for singles. They really turned to shit after Vitalogy. Mind you Vitalogy had some nonsense on it as well.
Matt Sammon I love no code and vitalogy . It all comes down to taste at the end of the day, what's you favourite album of theirs then?If I where to rate their albums from one to ten1. No code2. Vitalogy 3. Vs 4. Yield 5. Ten 6. Riot act 7. Pearl jam 8. Binaural 9. Lightning bolt 10. Backspacer (I wish Pearl jam has more albums just so I could make this even lower on my list )
@dandydj1 their in the description
ummm this does not have the lyrics
@MikaShelley99 in baja california playas de tijuana MEXICO, at a friends house on vinyl, just enjoying a great album
For me, this is perfect music. I'm not here in the UK when I listen to it, I'm in an SUV, driving around Snyder Texas. Where did you first hear it?
