Never heard of this guy, don't know how i got here, but I'm stoned and this is awesome.
Never heard of this guy? He only changed the course of modern music 3 or 4 times.

Anyone know when and where this was filmed?
A very good morning to you Miles Davis Vevo! Thank you for sharing this wonderful bit of music history. Shalom Y'all! from Kentucky.
Watching Miles Davis, smoking a cigarette. Wow, I born in the wrong time.
I like how the host has a lit cigarette nearby. Back when smoking was an essential and nutritious part of a balanced diet.
😆👍✨🎵🤣🤗🎵♥️💓❤️👍😎😭😄
This song never gets old this song is like wine it gets better with time
I'm here because of theZo William's Show
2019 and still listening, and this is still cool
Love :)
Trane's solo....and Miles' reaction! Who's out on the edge? Who's the sideman?
This came on the radio the other night on a station I stumbled upon that barely came in. And now here I am.
Miles too go before i sleep👨🚀
Innovative genius of the highest sort
brillantissime..........merci.....encore une preuve de l'existance de dieu.
Thank you!!!
adorabile
Coltrane's solo was beyond his time! It's like he played technology from 2000 forward then backward.Miles is very translative, he plays the mood never a wrong note or off pitch every sound is completely fated.God bless them.👍
You know, most people simply Don't Get It... And somehow find this music boring. It's for myself truly hypnotic, mesmerising. There's a profound message inside his sound. The inherent horrors of slave days.Screams and cries of Southern lynchings.Miles Davis genius colourlessly presenting the True Reach of the Human Spirit. ~
If this isn't the coolest session ever, the Moon is made of green cheese.
It's pretty damn amazing.
kako svirka bre

Genial trompetista de Jazz contemporáneo, su swing, marcado por la cadencia de la música, excelente, músico
Yeah, they were that good.
Miles is the personification of cool. Coltrane ascends into astral planes at one with the Universe.
Yep, Miles is the brain, Coltrane is the heart. I've came from metal music, the most cool thing for me about jazz is that all these genius, over the top, musicians played with each other. It's like, in the 70's, purple, zeppelin and sabbath made music together. But, now and then, they go solo for one album or two.
Is it just me or has black culture degraded over the last sixty years? When I think of the likes of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Charles Mingus, Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles and even the soul singers and bands of the sixties, it is upsetting. Now it seems to be all about hos and niggas and killing cops. It's horrible.
It was always going to be this way
It's hard to tell who disassembles this tune more, Miles or Trane.
You must not have heard the story of the feud between Miles and Monk. They ended up writing tunes AT each other, and it was only when Trane's solo cut in with "ALL RIGHT ALREADY!" that they finally knocked it off.
wtf this is so bad how is does this have likes?
涙が溢れる程に素晴らしい・・・
Thanks Miles Davis & Friends 🎼💜🌺🙋🎼
Beautiful how a black man can play this beautiful in such s discriminating time.

Tuesday(15/10/2019) :- Was never ever a fan of Jazz music but after watching the last day finale of the "N.C.P.A Jazz Festival(11-10-2019 to 13/10/2019)" in Mumbai have deciphered a bit of the music and now a fan. Here is the King of Jazz none other than Miles Davis in original "Black & White" video.
Him chilling in the background smoking while his buddy shows out is so cool.

What a lineup.....everything in the universe lined up for this one
The Mount Rushmore of Jazz Musicians
Ce n'est pas l'original. Miles ici fait le minimum. Coltrane toujours tellement émouvant et inventif, Bill Evans ânonne et s'ennuie, la reprise de Miles est inutile.Ou est donc passé Cannonball ?
3:40 I wish the camera stayed on Miles' face.
