Hip hop , jazz and country is what I like to listen too
this makes me imagine a time when there was sophistication...
Genius!
What is it with black people and jazz, like damn y’all are naturals
Нгиа Чан - прекрасная музыка. спасибо.
my 13 year old son gets to play this for middle school jazz band(bass), fortunate kid
The first few notes of Trane's solo is probably my favorite musical moment ever.
Sometimes it's cool to be a freeloader: Miles Davis lets you listen to himself for free and even names one of his compositions after you.
if you ever want to hear perfect music look no further
This is so great.
vegetable music for the soul
o my god
who was freddie freeloader?

I've always been a metalhead, but this album is actually getting me into jazz.
Same here man, this is my first ever jazz track (at least one i heard intentionally)
Same lol
Kicked out of home. Chrashed on my friends couch for 2 days Before moving to another location. He started playing this and said "this is called freddie freeloader". It fit the situation pretty well :DD
This was the first song that I listened to that showed me how intimidating John Coltrane is.
いい。😃😎🎵😙🎵
1000 people gave this the thumbs down?I hope it's just one guy with the shakes.

Quien en 2019? :D
This is what cool sounds like!
In order of solos...I believe it’s Evans, Miles, Trane, Cannonball, back to Evans. What a masterpiece!
wynton kelly on keys
liam robertson My mistake. Thanks for correcting me! Still a masterpiece 👍🏼
very true!
Mr. A. P. Louis: you had this exact album in your collection...😎😎😎
I'm an old guy from 1940 so was tuned in to all the jazz greats. Was a good time to be alive and being a guitarist playing these tunes around town. Still prefer my LPs and turntable.
i love it so much
1k dislikes, wtf?
CitraShopee
Love Wynton Kellys' playing in this song.
He was a racist
The way John Coltrane come in, you know it’s him. Power and pain, description in just a few notes, pretty crazy
Miles is awesome. Many jazz musicians, my self included, want to only play fast. But miles is different. He is way more melodic and not trying to show off to anyone. The only words I can use to describe him are groovy, calm, and badass.
how can anyone thumb down greatness?
🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
Miles Davis was the coolest Black man that ever lived and that's a cold fact.
This album had the jazz dream team on it. Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderly, Wynton Kelly/Bill Evans, Paul Chambers, and Jimmy Cobb.
Mark 2:14—4:30
you gotta dig this, or you need to check your pulse
The best album, the best sound ever recorded. Incredible!!!
Kind of blue oops lol
Only got out of the blue today cant wait to get my turntable next week .snd i,m away 😎

Jazz pra minha alma...

I love smoking a fat blunt to this
1000 people are a bunch of bitch ass
That's why I love black people.
When artist surpassed aristocracy and the commom man exploded with sound. The jazz age!
best ever
Grab a lite jack and hit the bar and get a scotch on da rocks
Im just saaying that was a cool commercial for dubai so theres that
Smoking some weed n chilling here
The kids today are clueless to any good music. All new stuff is crap almost. LOL
My Dad and uncles used to assist a varied assortment of artists back in the day out here in San Francisco to procure illicit sundries to satiate and quench the assorted thirsts of their collective vices. The one that more often than not was the elixir of choice, rhymed with....nothing , but could easily be mistaken for the female character in a novel...now there's an idea, a novel one @that lol
8:05 😯
keep jazz alive :(
0:400:400:40
I was born in the wrong era, I swear
I've just 'rediscovered ' this album after lying at the bottom of a pile for few years. It's like meeting an old friend. Its beauty is in it being all things to all men in the sensations, thoughts & memories it evokes. For me, it's grey afternoons in Scottish towns in late spring, with a few fingers of sunlight streaming through the cloud cover, while I make my way home from work, in anticipation of a night out with my then girlfriend, now my wife of nearly 37 years. Simple, relaxed, marvellous.
I am a big fan of America and American music especially this jazz music it literally rule my mind 👍👍👍 for USA and for all American singers
Grande...grande
Temazo!!...te transporta
made a rap song inspired by Miles Davis. Appreciate if you give it a listen.https://soundcloud.com/smileswavvish/miles
Piano solo 0:43
I just keep picturing Miles saying, it's great but turned on the piano a bit, over and over and over. Until it's barely audible...now it's perfect! That said, I know he's the star of the show, and this is horn focus music, but the piano just seems mixed really quiet
2:13 to 3:23
Miles thank you so much for your incredible music. i'm in heaven, what an art!

I walked into the bar got me a drink. talked to the lady, went up stairs got a piece of ass came down ordered another drink and went home; with Miles Davis on my mind not the pussy
الجزئر حبيبي،،،،،،
This was fun playing in my concert
This song grooves! The players are laying down solos that are riding the groove just right. You just want to jump in!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freddie_Freeloader
Drummer Jimmy Cobb the last surviving musician on this classic just turned 90 on January 20th. He's still playing. Go see him
I love how So What has this big cool build up into the main groove then this comes on it's straight away the groove no fucking around, such a cool song.
This was an incredible time though with issues like drinking and drugs, there was no social media, people were generally friendly and the world was still figuring out how to exist but on a peaceful and friendly way. THAT was the 50s and 60s. God I wish I existed then...
I’m a blues, rock and metal fan that wants to get into a bit of Jazz, Miles is the only jazz I know so far. Can anyone recommend some other great artists?
Please credit the musicians at least.
I miss you Dad RIp Mr Ricky Gasper Love always dad your Bunny Rabit like you say it
Mile Davis is me and my dad favorite
Lord have mercy.... That piano solo... Trane... Miles... Cannonball...
Probably one of the smoothest and jazziest record made by Miles Davis! Love it!
For me, walking down snow slushy streets in New York City looking for the club featuring bands playing the changes of those times or heading for the Jazz Cellar in Frankfurt, Germany. Change in the air - tuning in - getting high -something new and good emerging...
