I find it bitterly ironic that BB King and Elvis Presley were both born in Mississippi, and while BB was a King by name, Elvis was a king by choice. Another bit of irony is that the guy that wrote this song, John Hiatt, drew inspiration to write it by having a psychedelic dream about flying somewhere with Elvis as his passenger. Creepy, huh?
