When I hear this song, I want to go back to my mother's womb and not get out of there.
that is the most fucked up thing i ever heard....lol...!!!
I heard this song at Bloomsburg last year when General Tire vs Raminator
ANYONE here from Davie504's 24 string bass video? .. SLAP LIKE NOW on this comment!
I like that Tool´s producer haven´t Equalized this track almost at ALL! WAY too much bass that isn´t equalized/compressed, but that is also what makes this track great, if it had a perfect production, it would probably have killed some of the authenticity.
Carl Jung theory of our shadow .The primal human tendencies
the 46-2 theory is bull shit
Shadow=primal human
This is field Archaeology: I’m downDigging throughMy old musclesLooking for a clue.I’ve been crawling on my bellyClearing out what could’ve been.I’ve been wallowing in my own confused...

5:10 "Soumen miso ramen" I can't unhear it.
Soften this old armor
I'm hearing a heavy King Crimson influence with this one.
😈😈😈😈😈
Wow, this song speaks to me on a spiritual level. Laugh at me if you want but I have severe depression and anxiety and a skin and scab picking problem and for some reason this song reminds me of all that. I'm tearing up at how much this song reminds me of all of those problems.
well then you better pray to Jesus. tool isnt going to save you from your agony
Don't forget you have your own thing to do.

Watch a video of a developing embryo while listening to this - perfection 👌
Tool is another case in point of the band whose existence you're aware since the day you are born and yet taken in consideration only in the very late stages of your life.
This song is so awe-inspiring awesome! It also should have been playing while the end title credits were rolling in the movie "Joker", which is basically a film about a disintegrated, repressed shadow emerging and completely taking over the persona.
Someone has been studying Jung i see :D
Is he referring to the Jungian shadow?
yes, the song is very much based on Jungian philosophy
Got introduced to them in highschool, so underrated. They got some sick riffs
This song is a cross between real reality and delusion, Its a song of hope actually for human kind and reality! I hope people open up there minds and third eye to see that we can all live here without fear and hate and become one with ALL of the universe!! It's a song about losing what you think you are and digging into what you really are!! a song of hope for us who are awakened!! Who see life for what it really is and hoping the rest of you will wake UP!! SHADOW!!!!!!!!!! (you are your dark and "light" side!!) Both at the same time!!
Tool saves my life everytime.
Very great band
The explosion rang in his ears as Mike scanned the area to see the rest of his squad still among the living. El stood silently staring at the burning mass that was once Chris Walker's reanimated corpse. " It's not over. It's out now and heading to Starcourt." Credits roll.

46+2=484+8=121+2=33,6,9
Theyre fantastic. A great band with their own style and so talented, an ethereal beautiful sound thats lilting yet a driving beat thats unlying the melody holding it together so the artists can spin their tale such eloquence and yet a good rock song with a throbbing base thats sexy sensual and exciting it keeps you glued to the song like a great story thats a gothic tale both spellbinding and beautiful as it enfolds . A love story between the music and your senses..aural sex thats deeply satisfying..intriguing keeps you interested and on your seata edge like a great thriller with two lovers
That is a MEAN bass line...
Fucking Rocks! Going to see them tonight!!!!!
It's a legit video .. yes..DUTAE THEME SONG..
Do they intentionality keep the subscribers at 420k
My dad he went to a concert to see these people when he was a teenager now he is in his 40’s but me and him love this song
I wore this CD out in 98
Awe shit! This song inspired me to acquire a couple new chromosomes and I done fcuked up and now I have downs syndrome. Lmao🤣🤣
Shedding skin
48 chromosomes is smart but what about 52? 54? 56? 58? ........
Yes sir, unlike anything else out there then...today or ever
When you play normal songs in 2x speed it turns into a 50 second when you play TOOL at 2x speed (it's very funny and you should try it) it turns into a normal song
This is my Tool! There are many like it, but this one is mine!
nuberiffic Marine?
@Ladonna Brock ...are you asking if I am a Marine?
nuberiffic Yeah.
@Ladonna Brock lol, no.
There are some like Tool but only thru their Shadow
Hey why isn’t this on Spotify
Ame NoKami bruh, it is
Am I the only one that finds the opening bone chilling and suspensful. Its creepy as all hell
I don’t understand how anyone who likes hard/heavy music can dislike Tool...I’ve been listening to them since 93 & every now & then it’ll hit me just how fuckin good they really are ...aside from 90-94 era Soundgarden nobody else even comes close
Still listening 20 years later... Feel like a kid again going to school with my headphones on and my tape player I recorded the song while on the radio.
Way to make us feel old dude!
Same, my Brother, same...except my evolution is nearly complete...
Change is coming through my shadow. Smile and I'll smile.
Finally tool online
Discovered this song 3 years ago and I haven't stopped listening ever since.
Anybody who dislikes tool suck

Holy crap I just realized this is the same riff from Frame by Frame by King Crimson
Now is my time!!!
Caught this in concert in Salt Lake City last night... amazing show!
that was amazing show
Good for this density
hell yeah
'96 was such a good year for music. This album, imo, is their magnum opus.
come to Brasil!
Best bass line ever
I am almost 16 years old and I love old school music such as Tool, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Deftones, Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth, Kiss, and all of these awesome bands, this is true music.
Thats nice man I am 16 and I agree with your music tastebut... Kiss is not a good band musicely speaking. They are the definision of mediocre hard rock and they are overrated. Of course this is just my thinking
I’m putting this in a time travel movie I wrote, that’s a life goal.
Travels back in time and hears "MY SHADOW!"
My shadow
Never give up....my shadow.....it fights me daily....hope I see yesterday.
46 and 2.....
