Lena still sings and has done solo stuff. yulia has done solo stuff also. but yulia got a vocal cyst which is cancer, and the surgery damaged her vocal chords. therefore she cannot sing as well or high anymore.

-violetgirl1996- you're right but not really what that person meant there was more to it.. there was arguments with tatu.. and by that i mean lena and yulia.. which made then somehow split up and do solo careers... but i don't really know much of it but yes you are right and that's also a part of it :/ 👍

Yes. They themselves were musicians too despite being forced to sing most of their songs at the start. Such a shame their managers caused their own traumas contributing to their sour ending of their partnership. Gay or not, tATu made great music and filled that void in music industry... and they gave us a glimpse of hard Russian style of music.

Yeah, the emotional value of their songs and this kinda electronic environment influence on my music too!

It's melancholic and just GORGEOUS!Also, does anyone else like their Russian songs better than the English ones? (Not that the English ones aren't great too!) But I LOVE hearing them sing in their native language even more. I think the Russian language sounds beautiful.
