Iran has all four seasons! It can be sweltering hot in the south of Iran and snowing in the north. Iran is a beautiful country full of hospitable people and such amazing history and architecture! Iran is also very safe! If you ever get the chance to visit Iran, you should jump at it! :-)

What if someone listened to your careless advice, went and ended up hurt or dead? This is one of her songs that always brings tears to my eyes. It is so beautiful and well performed. I have virtually everything she has ever done and I like every piece she has ever performed and recorded. To me she is a once-in-a-lifetime composer, writer, performer.

Actually, this is the older version. As beautiful as it is, I much prefer the newer one - it was on Celtic Twilight Volume 2 and is hauntingly beautiful. It was on You Tube a couple of years ago but got taken down.

I had the privilege of seeing her in concert several years ago. She has only been here once :( It was like being transported to a land of faeries, mummers, magic. You can get a sense of it on her cd An Ancient Muse. There is a huge list of all those amazing musicians. Most have web sites. You can see the list and liner notes etc. on her website quinlan road

I haven't seen any but the elections are over now.... hopefully you can enjoy her music again.

This poem and Loreena's lovely rendition of it, captures perfectly the experience and feeling of a soft snowfall and the beauty and magic of it. When the world is covered in a soft white blanket, the snowflakes falling softly, muffling sound, glittering on the ground. The air seems warmer than it should be and the experience is even better around Christmas, with the lights glowing through the snowfall......

Love this but I love the older version more. It has a much more magical feel, and the ambiance really feels like your really there.
