Very old question. Regardless I would like to answer. Singer is Nina Sampermans.

better than their last album
I know many disliked the latest album, but I'm no sure why (no hate here, just curiosity). After the huge disappointment that "Reflection" was for me (except maybe for 4-5 really beautiful songs, I couldn't blame Noémie for leaving, her talent was completely wasted there) I was skeptical, not to mention a little afraid of what I would hear next.I ended up liking "In Wonderland" more than I expected, I would have included another couple of songs, but lots of the tracks really sound "Hooverphonic" to me, and I was afraid that was never going to happen again. The only two songs I can't appreciate for the sake of my life are Praise Be and Moving, I don't know, maybe the male vocals don't do much for me (I would have liked Alex to sing at least one song, he has a very distinctive voice, I knows he likes playing better, but still :-)Not the perfect album, mind you, but the proof that they can go on without only one lead vocalist (sadly, I still kinda missed this, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do). Some of "In Wonderland" is actually much better than some of things they even released years ago, I would have loved Geike or Noémie to sing these new tracks, most of them sound perfect for their voices.Just two things: I still haven't learned all the name of the vocalists, and... well, I'm sorry to say this, but the one with the brown hair and the nasal voice that sings pretty much everything during every live show definitely is not my cup of tea, nothing personal really, I just don't like really nasal voices and never have, sorry.Anyway, this song is actually an added bonus, thumbs up!
seem like hooverphonic found 2 great singers but has lost both and now there is no identity
+AspydeYes, I kinda see what you mean. They lost *tons* of great singers, but let's not dwell on that. Using different vocalists could be considered "a new beginning" and even bring something fresh and new to the band (now a duo), on the other hand it's still hard on many people (as I'm sure it was and it is for Alex and Raymond too. I could understand Geike - Alex hid it well, but he was devastated when she left - but Noémie leaving, I did NOT see that coming, I wonder if they did... I guess it was "the final blow"). I don't blame them for choosing the "Massive Attack approach". Anyway, during an interview Alex said that he doesn't rule out the possibility to make at least an album with only one lead vocalist if they ever find "someone special" enough to do it.I think the picked up some pretty good singers, the latest album is a lot better than most of Reflection (sorry guys, too much cheesy pop for me in spite of a bunch of really beautiful songs), at least "In Wonderland" it feels "Hooverphonic" to me. I wasn't sure this would happen again, but thankfully for me it did. I just wish they included this little gem, THIS is "quality pop" we should hear on their albums.
hilariously cheesy and childish lyrics, I miss old Hoover
Sounds great if it was 1982 & you were A 12 y/o fan of Debbie Gibson or whatever "New Great" sensation that the Disney singer mill was churning out that week. Not that some good music didn't come out of the 80's, just this sounds formulaic,
Imran Chaudhari I didn't call cheesy I said bubble gum pop. But listen to the Tiffany, Debbie Gibson songs from that time and Disney basically had a formula.
me gusta. ...luc
Great song! I would like to also hear it orchestrated and toned down :)
Glad to be from the first people to view this song ...
I totally loved this song. Who is the singer?
Nina Sampermans she's a belgian singer and part of Hooverphonic
