Great combo of artistic mix.My Armenian brother with duduk plus a group of other talents collaborating with Yasmin's great voice, the result will definitely be an unforgettable song
This is my favorite song because I was born in ex Yugoslavia or Balkan's territory.. That is why we all grown up together.. Croatian, Serbian,Slovenian, Macedonian people..We are one of the kind because we got three religions.. Catholicism, Orthodoxies and Islamic...This is the reason why I love that melody because brings me memories from time before the war started.. And I adore Yasmin's voice filled with emotions..
Duduk öldürdün beni beee
Lan sanki emekli olmuşum 35 yıl sonra memleketime geri dönüyorum😢😢😢
Thank God that today we can all fly El Al!
Çok hoşşş
Armenians, Azerbaijanis, Kurds, Turks are people of same geography.. Duduk is ours.
Tuba Aykut excuse me? R u ok? Dont mix Armenians w/those, dont even try it, did u get it?
Our geopraphia is so rich.. music, culture, food, golklaric dance etc are nearly similar... and people in this geopraphia are always fight each other.. they think only they have got all these things.. I hope one day we realised that we live together with all our richness...

what's the name of instrument that shaped like pipe?
this is Azerbaijan ancient instrument TUTEK. Armenians thieves stole it from Azerbaijanis. Yasmin super
@Pa36OjHuK The player is Vardan Hovanissian (an Armenian) and the instrument, although used in many countries of the region, is most likely of Armenian origin (at least the duduk that we know, since there are many variants of it throughout the region). I do not understand your narrow-mindedness of absolutely appropriating everything that is Armenian. This is culture and it has been shared throughout the region... chill out!
How can Azerbaijan have anything ancient??? Coca Cola is older then Azerbaijan. If you want to see thieves then all you have to do is look at the whole country of Azerbaijan and you'll see a whole bunch of thieves...hands off Karapagh!!!
U guys r so poor "humen beings" what r u again?

alter eyy..:()
@bebopsi If I'm not mistaken it's a Turkish oboe. Turkish oboe's are pretty essential to sephardi music and I know that in her earlier albums featured the turkish oboe a lot. I'm 100% sure but I hope this helps.
Axiom of Choice is another unbelievably great band that blends Persian and East Asian music (Niya Yesh is their best album). Yasmin is just as good, if not even more exotic!!!

@Qumak13 it's nat called Ney this enstrumant called Tsiranapogh (what became to be called even by Armenians Duduk afther the big Ottoman Occupations, todays Turkey)
god bless the jewish sister from israellove from lebanon
@GranVelezMalaga You did a great job GranVelezMalaga! Mil grasyas po tu trabaxo - this is my first verse in ladino, so have mercy!
@melissamaples the flute is called NEY in Turkey :-) and I'm pretty sure they use the Turkish instrument in this recording. It has the most wonderful sound of all the woodwind instruments :-)
@nygal319 That's not surprising at all, nygal - a vast number of Sephardic Jews, after having been expelled from Spain in 1492, migrated throughout the Ottoman Empire and some of them settled in what is now Bulgaria. Some words from Bulgarian were incorporated into ladino, i.e. their language. So maybe their music tradition stayed with you until this very day :-)
This is the first time that I see this utube and it is excellent. I am from Bulgaria and this music is very familar to me but never thought that a Bulgerian band will play it. GOOD JOB.
@melissamaples hi Melissa...that is an Armenian flute ..called DOODOOK i don't know how it got there in spanish music but he is improvising in armenian way of music....leonard [email protected]
the duduc is a nice touchladino arminian fusion
Judaeo-Spanish (Jewish Spanish) or Ladino is a language derived from Old Spanish heavily influenced by Hebrew and Aramaic
@saiwan12 Her family came from Spain and were sent out in 1492 when the Jews were expelled. Many went straight to Palestine in 1492,some went to North African countries where there were already Jews living there since the Jews were expelled from Palestine in the year 93A.D.
great voice , could any one tell me wher she is from ?
It's ladino, fron the Spanish jews thrown out of Spain in 1492 when Grananda, the last muslim kingdom was reconquered by the Catholic Kings. It's a shame because those muslims and Jews were Spanish and they loved their land. Most of them found a new home in the Otoman Empire, that's why the influence in their music.
Judisk folkmusik?
It sounds really familiar with the Turkish music of us.
yes the same sultans that occupied jerusalem for centuries.
