This song fits eastern Germany so well. Now, 30 years after the wall came down, we have so many resignated people living there. They gave up. They did not make the best out of their new freedom. You can not imagine that - it´s been 30 years and these people are accusing Merkel for their personal faults. It´s like sitting in your Plattenbau for 30 years and complaining that everone outside is overtaking you in giant leaps. Been to eastern Germany several times. It´s so depressing, glad I am skilled enough to not live there. Instead of educating themselves, these easterners and their kids are going outside and starting right-extremist demonstrations. Get that wall back up. Ugh.
