it's a production guitar, the lucille. essentially an es-355 without f holes. bb's signature guitar.

John Lee said in an interview that he saw it in a music store near his home and bought it because BB was a pal of his and wanted to pay tribute to BB. Music store owner asked John if he needed help with anything, john asked him to bring the guitar over, owner said it was a lot of money. John said in his trademark stutter "I-I-I-I D-D-D-Don't Care, J-J-J Just G-G-G Give It To Me"!!!!!! Owner said "Who The Hell Are You"???? What John Lee didn't know was that the owner was a HUGE fan. John said "I-I-I I'm John Lee"!!!!!! Owner started screaming and soon enough, John Lee was signing stuff in his store. LOL!!!!! Hope that helps.
