Beast of a machine !
This scene and the depiction of the moon landing are my two favorite scenes in this movie. Both do a great job capturing the courage and conviction of the crew when facing the fear of the unknown and a historic moment for all of humanity.
Nothing like a little liquid hydrogen and oxygen to get yourself going in the morning
2:39 the sound of 160,000,000 hp making metal sing
Tower cleared 😎😎😍😍😍
The elevator part gets me every time. Up and up and up and it seems to never end, the Saturn V was massive
Wut the it shakes that hard?!

This event took place just 65 years after the Wright Brothers flew in Kitty Hawk. People who didn't know what an airplane was in their youth lived to see SPACESHIPS in their own lifetime. Scientists... I salute you.
I'm pretty sure at this stage Neil wouldn't have been gazing out of the window, at this stage his eyes would've been transfixedon the Intstrument Panel.
In Neils own words :002:53:03 Armstrong: Hey, Houston, Apollo 11. That Saturn gave us a magnificent ride.
Fun fact: Ryan Gosling didn't blink for the entirety of this film sequence while shooting.
Best Kerbal Space video I've seen for a while

ah... humanitiy
This movie sucked
I REMEMBER SEEING THIS IN PERSON!!!!!!!!!
Ignition sequence start 🔥
Mankinds finest hour
The most powerful and most iconic rocket in history..
This film is fake. It was filmed on the moon and Earth. And everyone knows the moon doesn't exist and the Earth is flat as a mom-butt. Ipso fatso, this film does not exist. ::hits replay::
If you suffer from sleep deprivation, go watch this movie. This dull-as-diarrhea flick will make you sleepier than a junkie watching a golf tournament. It was so boring, my body lice fell asleep, too... PS-- Gosling had a lobotomy before filming began...
4:50
5:10
Here's the time it was funny at 5:20
They should have showcased the launch more. Long slow motion views would have really wowed the audience.
Shame on you, lied to millions of people, including children
The German tech at it finest. From then, to now only regress...
THİS BAD ANİMATİON
Hats Off to Dr. Wernher Von Braun and his team of American Scientists!! Respect!
They were the bravest souls on earth or they had a death wish
Movie: yeah right..Soundtrack: F*cking awesome
Go n travel up!!!
100 flatearthers hate this movie!
of course we all know they survive but in the scene, the score and cinematography really make you fell like the were gonna die at any second
IMO NASA ( the Apollo program specifically) and muscle cars are the only circumstances where America was and still today are as good as they pretend to be. Truly America at its finest
I wish they would have started the story of this film with Armstrong as a child-who flew his first plane at 15-rather than using the death of his daughter as a sad backdrop to the story. It would have told us so much more about this man's personality, his intelligence, and the reason for his personal success.
tout le monde oublis les enfants, bref, ou il est le premier pas ?
3:30 I love this shot because it’s like the camera man is frantically trying to find the rocket in the smoke but then sees it rise out of the cloud
Fantastic film-making. Edge of my seat, even though I already knew what was going to happen.
wow no US Flags on their suits. I'm rewatching the Apollo 13 LiftOff! Screw This!
Heroes
I love the pictures of the Saturn VI second stage and abort tower piercing the sound barrier it really helps to visualize just how fast it's really moving
2:44 is some spectacular editing.
Neil’s gaze into the sky is so inspiring. This and the rest of the launch/flight sequences in this movie are easily the best I’ve ever seen. The music here captures the momentous achievement in all its glory, danger, and sheer power.
14 13 12 11 10 9 ignition sequence started Neil Armstrong: oh dam I left my wallet at home
Mankind’s finest hour
People are such suckers. There is NO WAY we had the technology to make that movie!
Go to the Moon!
Sounds :O
Take me out, to the Black....
I can't wait until the future where this film is considered a classic like 2001 A space Odyssey
I used to pirate film ( yeah im a bad boy) but i buyed the blueray dayone.
If it’s not a documentary on Apollo 11 I’m not watching it. I refuse to not watch the real thing
This makes me proud as hell to be from SPACE CITY HOUSTON TEXAS
Most incredible launch scene in a movie. The way Neil Armstrong walks way ahead of the two crew mates on the bridge goes to show how much he is into this, completely onto the task, in the zone, and also deep within himself with the family tragedy. Not sure if many of those watched the movie noticed this but the director likely deliberately pictured it this way. All three astronauts are heroes and so are everyone involved who made this flight happen.
Unsurprisingly, a group of commenters felt the need to make this movie's lack of a Best Picture win about how the Oscars don't like movies with white ppl. A ridiculous statement, but let's look at this a little closer. First off Apollo 13, Gravity, and the Martian were all movies about space travel with white characters that made a ton of money and got Oscar nominations, so to claim the Academy doesn't like movies about "White guys accomplishing greatness" demonstrates that one is either a troll or a moron or both. As good as this movie was, it's treading old territory and the lead performance from Gosling is wooden. Which is no insult to him, the real Armstrong was famously aloof. But aloof performances don't tend to get as much attention as the flashy ones. Hence, it makes sense that Rami Malek's very excellent performance as Freddie Mercury won.First Man won't be the first movie to be overlooked by the Academy (though I question how an Oscar win on four nominations is overlooked) but we can discuss it's merits without resorting to rank racism.
When I was a boy, men like these were role models to me, young boys need men like these to look up to once more
That was beautiful!
Ma un trailer decente no?...il file sarà anche parlato.....oltre 2 minuto iniziali di silenzio...ma chi cazzo li monta sto film Betti boo?
