If you don't notice how her new music sounds, don't say she's changed. Reputation songs actually have really beautiful lyrics and sounds. If she writes one diss-track, that doesn't mean she's changed. No offense, but it honestly makes you look like you don't actually listen to her and make assumptions, please just realize that she really hasn't changed, if you realize, she's written about revenge on her old songs too.Bye!

as a literal mega fan of taylor i can say that her newer songs are more lazily written than the ones here.

When most people complain that Taylor’s changed (me being one of those people admittedly), we usually are referring to her style of music, not necessarily the writing of said music (which is still pretty good imo). I stopped seriously following her work after Red (after being like the biggest mega-fan since Fearless) and still haven’t listened to 1989 in its entirety, much less Reputation or Lover.

@sophlabs in my opinion its almost cringy listening to some of her 1989->now songs because of forced rhymes, her attitude and SOOO many popular quotes that she buries in her songs

@sophlabs after Red? I mean tastes differ and all but damn I loved that album. All To Well is a cult classic I adored it. Personally I think she evolved especially listening to Lover. The old songs as like a teenager (not a bad thing) and you can feel she grew up imo.
