I rediscovered a lot of things in the New Year -- Snow Patrol, Pride and Prejudice(especially the 2005 version) -- and I'm so happy because now I have the capacity to appreciate more things about these than I could have when I was younger. I was too young. Still haven't experienced much of life and the world, but I don't know, just in what I thought of as a strange video before, I now see the joy(?) (damn, Gary!), and the joy in the song? This never left my playlist, but I never thought much of the video. I guess I saw the (day)light. Hahaha.As for the mention of P&P 2005, I know a lot would argue that it's a bad representation of the book, but the feel of the movie just gets to me, even more now that I'm older. It reminded me of Crack the Shutters, Lizzie and Darcy...the lines 'incandescently happy,' like this song. Here's to hoping I'd experience even a fraction of that. Haha.And of course just the blissful poetry of the lyrics...*sigh*
