I've always felt like Luther's Motown albums were some of the best blues LP's of the 70's. Definitely heavy on the guitar---but all blues, too. And the voice....he really just had it all. What a musician.

Great stuff. Real music. ;-) I am collecting blues from my memory from a songbook for guitar.I only know a few of the lines and sometime the title. Youtube is quite helpful in getting all those songs together. I can then search for the chords and the text and such get everthing I once had in that book.

And listen to it and Country Western they sing a lot about that same thing then you listen to it from a blues player I told this to a friend who listen to country and I said yeah they do sing about the same stuff but it really sounds cool when you hear it from the blues player. And in country it just feels like there sniveling
