I lost my Daddy June 30th of this year. My Mom and Dad's 49th wedding anniversary was July 31st. His Birthday was September 11th. This will be our first Thanksgiving, and Christmas without him. My Older Brother and my Mom gave me my Dad's old truck. Not worth much money but it is worth a lot more to me. I got new tires on it and i drive it every chance i get. Needs a paint job and a few thinks on inside cosmetically but it is worth a million bucks to me. I do roll the windows down and crank up the radio but i have not went out in a field and turn spins in it.💖😄 I feel him with me the most when i am in his truck driving it. He died from Cancer. Was diagnosed In February and he fought until he just could not fight anymore. 5 months i saw my Daddy waist away i went with him and my Mom to every chemo and radiation treatment and i helped my Mom take care of my Dad i was there with him when he took his last breath. Me, My Mom, My brother, and My husband. I do not regret being there for my Daddy he is in a better place but sure does hurt not having him here. I love you so much Daddy and miss you. I will see you again.😰💔

My cousin Christian was my best friend growing up. He knew me like nobody else in the world could have. He was ten years older than me, but that never mattered to us. We connected on a level that nobody could imagine. When i was sixteen, he was t-boned by a drunk driver and thrown off the side of the road. The driver ran, and he lay in the truck, unconscious, and bled out. By the time the paramedics got him to the hospital, nothing could be done. His truck was sold by his dad before anyone else had the chance to say they wanted it. November 15, 2014, RIP. I miss you, Christian.

My Beautiful son died 2019. He was only 42 and loved by so many. I drove his SUV ( not a truck) but his sunglasses and chapstick were there and I took them. This song reminds me of him and always made me cry even before his death. To all the brave men in the military and all great men Lee Brice thank you for this beautiful heartfelt song. My girlfriend crashed into it and messed up the front end😔. I had put a brand new clutch, slave cylinder, master cylinder, clutch hydraulic line, pivot arm, pivot ball; all in myself. You thought me how to drive a stick shift 12 years ago in that same truck. It will never be the same but i promise i will get it back on the road. It's okay bud, you'll enjoy the truck twice as much when you get it fixed. Take your time and do it right. I blew the transmission in my dad's truck. Took me a year of walking to work to save the money and buy a brand new one. Proud to say my dad's truck is still on the road almost 10 years after my dad's passing. Still runs like a champ just the way he left it for me.
