I'm so feeling this today!! This album is one of my go to albums and I feel ever note and every word !! Incredible is the word !! 100% blues !!
Awesome
Absolutely the most incredible soul I've ever heard 💗
It's hella lonely on the darker side.
Holy mother of god, this guy jams out, the whole album through! My favorite riff, worthy of repeating, over and over starts at the 4:00 minute marker. Trippy, acid rock heavy, on the wah-wah pedal. Mind blowing!
Blues players must endure. Been ten years ago this tune.
The BEST!!!
So much soul for a young man for sure
exceptionally outstanding go out have fun
taşşaklı bir abimiz severek dinlerimmm

Best of Jonny. Natural blues guitarist if ever there was one.
I love him. He is one of my favorite artists. Listening to him sing and play the guitar is truly a pleasure. What a gift! Thank you Jonny.

Absolutely love this young man since his first hit! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! ROUGH, TUFF&BLUES FEELING. JUST WONDERFUL MUSIC!!!!!!
Bought this album at a dark time when I was 13-14 just before my biological dad and stepmom were arrested for domestic disturbance... this whole album was my escape from the constant fighting. Underrated to say the least~!
Now this is a "Making Love" song! :)~
His fingers spit fire! wow. I remember when I first heard him as a kid. He was so young. He is top shelf, even today.
This song is my obsession....just cannot get over it.

And check out Irish blues icons Gary Moore and Rory Gallagher. Two of my favs. also Aynsley Lister, saw him at the Pinedale, Wy. blues festival along with Austin, Texas's Chris Duerte. Great players all

Jesus..what an amazing song. What an incredible album! Can't believe Jonny was only 14 when the album was recorded. just astonishing. His voice, guitar playing are just simply nothing short of spectacular. Excuse me as I drift away with this song...

He was 17.... the album is 20 years old

this song kicks ass if I only live 25 more years or 25 more minutes this is going to be one of my death songs. the last one to be played will be Can't find my way home, by Blind Faith

+Sonji Mclean lo estas logrando.
+Sonji Mclean. I love that you love this song . you must have a sexy soul...
Amen!💜
Jonny is great, but his christian side has done him no good. Saw him live in Denmark 2 years ago, very disappointing . The old thing are far better.
He did not show much skill here, but i still love to hear his old stuff.
"Here" as in "This song", this is "The old stuff", it's the first album.
I know.
This guy is "an old soul" I love every song he sings!!! I would LOVE to see him live. hopefully, I wil!!!! Great Performer!!!
I saw him in Cincinnati, Oh. at Bogarts, Amazing!💋
+Constance Mitchell I saw him in San Bernardino, CA when he opened for Aerosmith back when he first came out
Saw him at a Blues Fest, and I'll never forget his performance.
MAN WHAT A BADASS TUNE
great album , not many views
NORTH STAR....WI 4/24/15. CANT WAIT ! WITH INDIGENOUS ??? You would hard-pressed to find better.
Thanks so much I have listened to you for a number of years !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
as far as religious music is concerned'', where do u think this all originated from? church choir tunes mixed around , listen to alot blues u will hear revival music , and that is just what the blues is, a transformation in music turning a negative into a celebration of riding out the hard times and coming out of it on top '', and eventually feeling alright'' the blues its what america is to the core because its what we always did'', but'' u dont always come out of it unscathed'' the scathing is the knowledge of life you learn that nobody could teach you and u had to learn for yourself'', the blues.
Well said.
Certainly, its why I'm loving the blues.
Love the feel of this whole tune, ESP. at around 3:59 after keyboards do a short intro then the pause then drums do a roll then that riff and the big note. Timing has never been done better, the note is stretched to the perfect trillionth of a microtone pitch pierces you like a dagger and held exactly long enough to bring in the next note ( which actually is the big notes partner ) in the solo the rest of which is just in a ZONE COSMIC, and the tele tone is just as good as its ever been offered by any tele. That interval just blows me away play it back over and over again. Over decades I've been coming back to that part .
This is an old soul ..just reaching out an laying it down
Love this, who plays the piano.
probably Bruce Mcgabe(sp) at the time
It is Bruce McCabe. He wrote this originally when he was in the Lamont Cranston Band. If you like this—check them out.
esos lados reúnen secretos...
Nice,nice song!!!
I have that CD. This guy is so underrated. This song should have millions of views. He was so young when he did this album. There was no one of his age doing this type of music the way he did it.
Rose Ryan I've been a fan for almost 2 decades. You can feel the soul in his voice! Love love love him!!!
Rose Ryan yea been listening since he started out
Rose Ryan I seen him in Kitchener a few years ago. Didn't disappoint. 👍
blues brothers movie... &just a youngster he was live is Sac last weekend or this .... real music still has hope. check out eureka brass at the Humboldt County fair if you get a chance request a song and watch the people dance.
steve winwood was young as fuck too when he started. sure dont seem to make em like this too often..
just discovered jonny, im nowww hooked, what a voice :)
I danced at THAT club....and this was my theme song.
I was just recently turned on to Jonny!!!! WOW what I've been missing!!
This song introduced my kids to the Blues genre. We were driving through the countryside on a sunny summer day and my kids were arguing about something. I heard this song and turned up the volume. After a while they stopped fighting. The kids looked out through the open windows and the wind was blowing through their hair. I saw that both of them really listened to the song. It was magic. When the song ended my youngest son said: "There is so much good music out there."Thank you, Jonny.
I have a little man 2 years old. Your post made me tear up...thank you and thanks jonny. ✌
Saw him at Eric Clapton's Crossroads in 2010. I'd never heard of him before then. He gave a very powerful performance alongside Buddy Guy and Ronnie Wood--you have to be good to stand up to those guys!
Me N Mine!
grew up on classic rock and blues was always around but this record is what what got me into the blues great songs from top to bottom
sometimes you want to take his place. GREED. Sad song. But I love it.
@TheJudybrown It's the guitar,,,,,,,and his voice.
look how the people that lie so easy. A sense of pride............. Awsome song.
like,fuck up and listen.
If you gonna listen it for one time can't stop the song before listing it 3 times !
@akcorr07 they may not go hand in hand but when your sitting around playing this kind of music and have all those things going through your head its not hard to get lost in the drugs or drinking.
I bet he'd do a kick ass job on Jeff Healy and Otis Redding music.
all of his music just moves ya...wow what an artist
Nice job for Mr. Lang. He's a natural, good stuff!
I love the way they put the crisp clean piano to those great blues riffs.Kid can play with so much feeling. Great job!
I saw Jonny at the Festival in Memphis when he was sixteen followed him ever since. An amazing magician and I do love him so. You go boy recovery songs are amazing and keep me in the first step.
damn good song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In my opinion, by far Lang's best song.
they learn how to lie to get what they need....and after they got what theyneeded oh it turns into a simple case of greed
The blues make some people sad... it revitalizes my spirit.. :)
How does someone so young know how to sing like this?! An old soul...
@TheBec63 saw him with buddy guy and jeff beck. amazing players all around, and a huge influence on me back in the '90s
@jdrubanim i saw him with buddy guy around 1997 or so and with Jeff Beck in '99. great shows that i'll never forget.
@Brandonsarsfield Right on.
@akcorr07 WTF are you talking about ?
Jonny sings, and plays the blues WELL, and I'm so jealous of anyone who got to see him AND Robert Cray.... (swoons) :)
Amazing!
@Brandonsarsfield Absolutely Brandon !
i dont know if you guys know anything about music but this is the blues, look at the chord structure , just because he isnt screaming all the time doesnt make it any less amazing, he has just grown as a musician... educate yourself....
Just love this song!!!
love love love this song!
Brilliant...
true but... name me one blues legend that stayed clean thu their prime years. pretty much all of them have had insane drinking and drug problems
@AfterTheBell I feel bad that you've never been touched by words or a melody in that way before. Clearly you are either an emotionless robot or you just haven't been lucky enough to discover a song that really moves you.
@akcorr07 uh you obviously dont play the blues then cuz drinking and the blues are like bread and butter.
This song is so amazing !!!!
AWESOM ROCK/BLUES...! Saw him live twice--He's Amazing!!
i am with you on that one judy
