Indeed considering this was going to be made by the same person who did that jungle book one which is by far the best live action they did.

I liked the real life version. I didn’t care for Simbas grown up voice. Wasn’t manly enough for being in a new leadership/ power/ king role. Missed Elton’s Johns version of the song, didn’t care for the remake

A lot of people don’t like the film because they say they can’t connect to the animals in the movie because they don’t show emotions with facial features.Real animals don’t express themselves like cartoon animals, so when you say you can’t have a emotional connection because they don’t remind you of humans, you’re part of the problem of animal’s lives not being taken seriously. It’s the most ridiculous critique of a movie I’ve ever seen

@Dan200 TF compare Jungle Book and The Lion King. You won't find any difference at all it just wasn't blamed back then cause it was the first time showing the new technology. I hate people who bring up jungle book and say it had better expressions when it's not true

Dan200 TF they display as much emotion as they do in this movie. They can’t smile, cry, or laugh. But they can roll around, meow, rub against my hand, lick me, hiss, etc. That’s about it lmao

@Levente Korondán there honestly is a good comparison cause literally like I said before one shows emotion and the other doesn't. They literally smile and show emotion in the jungle book and yeah it does seem cartoony and unrealistic but who cares it's literally about a film with talking and singing animals. Also the reason why the jungle book didnt get as much bad reception as the lion king did was cause it showed the new technology at the time? What!? That makes no since at all it's quite clear the jungle book 2016 introduced new elements and stakes to the story unlike the new lion king which is basically a shot for shot remake with the soul taken out. You acting like the jungle book 2016 introduced cgi animals for the first time.

I watched it in theaters last week and it blew me away, my childhood was reborn in the most fantastic way imaginable. The music was breath taking the characters were were so unbelievably good, the tears the comic relief the romance the courage and bravery the majesty of this story will live until the end of time. And as lond as men shall walk the earth they will watch this and look up at the night sky in a whole new world of light and remember the great kings of the past, even if this story is abandoned or forgotten or if the lion population rebuilds or dies the stars will never fade, never, they will burn till the end of time
