I don't know how many times I've watched this...but it is a lot
This must be what home, family and security feels like.
I love the culture and wish the very best to these newlyweds
Now that is a wedding! Brought me to tears!
Stupidest thing I’ve ever seen
What an awful xenophobe. Stop thinking your culture should be the standard for everyone else.
Çok duygusal, her izlediğimde gözlerim doluyor. başkasına izletiyorum salak salak bakıyor bende mi anormallik var anlamadım.
🙁😒
Kiwi STRONK
كبر لفكم
Why do people do this ? Serious question
Whenever I come back to watch this I get emotional. You can see how much this means to the bride, and to all of them. Lovely.
Freakin Awsome!
I'm Mexican, and this video makes me cry always. So powerful.
They are not all Maori .....but here there are one simply amazing!!!
it was cute until the bride joined
I thought they were gonna gangrape the bride.
These Haka brings me memories of the time I lived in NZ. Such a great and Unique culture. I miss my Friends in Auckland, miss them so much.
الحمدالله ع نعمه العقل
1:17 I'm in love.
These guys look retarded! I'd be embarrassed 🖕
Everytime I see this video it makes me cry. So many raw emotions
Beautiful
I was going to comment why is she crying and why are people in the comments crying? Then I started tearing up suddenly at the end I think 2:31 got me
>watches one video of the Haka Dance>well, that's kinda odd. I'm gonna watch another to see if they're all like that>watches second Haka Dance video>wow, this is kinda a very powerful dance. I think I can see why this would strike fear into their enemies>watches third Haka Dance video>*wipes tears from eyes* It's so beautiful, where has this been all my life?
I am not familiar with this culture but watching it made me cry. This must be very sacred.

💛💛💛💛
many respects for the new Zealand people.
Have to love the comments of other people, particularly black, trying to divide the unity in NZ.Yes they have their differences but NZ is a country that can hold their own.
As a maori they're more than welcome to join. Anyone is. You don't have to be maori to appreciate and there's nothing but aroha (love) for others who are interested in someone else's culture
1:18 🤣😂🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mis RESPETOS.
It’s all fun and games till these mfs come at you like this
I saw a video, where the same powerful dance was performed for a lost loved one. What does this dance mean?
This is very beautiful.
man that war dance is one of the only things that can bring me to tears and i haven't the slightest clue as to why, those Maori tapped into something...Jesus.
This is beautiful..the girl doing it & everything 😭😍.
There's only one group of beings on this planet that are and will forever remain cultureless. Those ppl are responsible for this vids dislikes and tasteless comments. The rest of us are trying to collect ourselves after witnessing such a spiritually charged ceremony which can only be felt by those it choses to touch.
Man. This ish is real. Much respect. Also, side note, this is also what I do before I go into Popeyes looking for a chicken sandwich
awesome!
heart attacking
Just beautiful
I know nothing about what they just did but it made me cry and im going to learn as much as posibble about it. Just Beautiful❤️

Did anyone relise that nct 127 simon says intro is the haka
This is a new dimension of the weird part of YouTube for me. Nice.
Eric Gregory you have no culture except bacteria
I know this is a weak comparison but it is kind of like a national anthem on steroids.
حاسيتها بتقول الله يشفيهم
Im Asian lady i don’t know but i feel something in my heart and boom i cried

Bigoted
That’s your opinion. Opinion ain’t got nothin’ on truth.

I just see the Video of your Wedding it’s really emotional for thé Strong and praoud off all peaple Thé documentary is thé HAKA LAND the maori culture is full of proudly référence of ancestral native Thanks for thé gréât moment and long way for twice. Happy life and Long Long love.......
00:01 - 00:07 Simon says NCT 😆
Or....you could just have a normal wedding like normal humans where the focus is on ( get ready for it!!!!) ....the Bride and Groom and NOT a bunch of fkn nedanderthals who crave attention by screaming like 5 year olds.
That's sad. And offensive, and disrespectful, and stupid
Its culture so RESPECT the drip KAREN.
Even the bride made and the bride is in the dance I love it I wish I was there bc I haka but I am in Florida lol
This is awesome. Really emotional and strong and powerful. Never got tired of watching this powerful force.
Hands down one of the most beautiful displays of love & respect I know to exist! And to honor someone with such power and effort is truly a gesture never to be forgotten!!! Absolutely amazing....
0:57 I bet he is thinking 'Shit...I was gonna tell everyone I banged her sister....But on second thoughts...'(I love the hakka btw)
если бы я видела это вживую, я бы усралась от страха
NCTzen anyone?
Brazilian jiu-jitsu is life! 😘
Love from the irish🇮🇪
There a highschool football team here in Las Vegas Liberty high that does the haka before every game. It's an amazing thing to see. It's so cool to see so many kids from vastly different cultures all sharing that with everyone.
This is so so beautiful. and powerful. I love new Zealand and Maori Culture. Truely amazing to have native and european culture in harmony together
when I saw them embrace with the touch of the nose, I immediately balled my eyes out.
And I now pronounce you "Warriors for Life" 🇳🇿💕
Me being an a American makes me wants to learn the haka dance at a young age
raw emotions
He actually is Mauri
I don’t understand, what was this?
Ian Malcolm same
It's an important ceremony in the maori tradition, it is a way of celebrating events such as war, wedding, funerals etc. through the expression of raw emotions i think. It has a mythological background to
@Maxime Laffitte thx non-bro
Effing Beautiful
If you’re looking for an example of family bonding found the right video.👍
Don't know anything about it but I can see it's pure from the heart emotions, love it. God bless the Maori people
This is amazing. Sharing culture like that is beautiful
Love from india and a wonderful tradition love it
There's something about Haka, that appeals to my soul.
I have watched the Haka in person and it is one of the most emotionally draining, yet supremely enriching, experiences you can ever have. Wonderful stuff.
So now I know where the opening for 'Simon says' by NCT is from
I know! The music started playing in my head after he yelled the first line.
@sleep deprived pigeon @The Worm The intro before the actual haka is basically saying ' get ready! pay attention!' from the chief/kaea(leader) to the tribe, and also to the manuhiri (visitor - in this case the bride and groom). Hopefully this is a lil fun bit of Trivia ;) - As a Kpop fan myself I literally screamed when they included this in Simon Says :D
Wish my family would keep up with traditions like this family has. Truly beautiful stuff.
Comedy gold!
I don't understand how anyone could possibly mock this ritual. It has such a deep, primal connection to our basest yet noblest humanity. The Haka has such immense energy and defiance, I can't imagine what kind of meek, judgmental person would ever criticize it.

Amazing energy , your soul gets connected with this beautiful tradition , don’t know the meaning of the words however I get very emotional every time I see this Haka celebration , beautiful tradition and culture . Much respect and love .
I'm sad because in my country there is a really small bond with our native culture... But that is slowly changing... We should maybe learn from New Zeland
Demons possessed these people
Far from it. Any demons would be long gone. The energy and spirit of Maori haka much too strong for demons or the weak willed.
Ohh my Gosh.. love it.. my childhood days
Love it!!!!
Groom lost the jacket and started snapping lets goooooooo
CAN SOMEONE TEACH ME THIS CULTURE I LOVE IT
Can someone explain why they so emotional? Or translate pls
They're emotional because it is an ancient tradition. It's their heritage, their history. It's part of who they are. The haka means so much more to the New Zealanders than any of us can fathom. And on the couple's wedding day, no less.
That is absolutely stunning! They all deserved a bloody beer after that......wonderful.
I am from India and do not understand or know anything about Mouri or about haka. Although I read it somewhere that this particular haka is a father teaching his son lessons of life. This is one of my favorite videos on youtube and if you ask me the reason I might not be able to explain it to you. I understand this much that haka is a language not for the ears but for the soul, because that's where it reaches me everytime I see it. You New Zealanders must be so proud to have such deep connections to your roots.
Beats doing polonaise.
Maravilhoso.
Tansi I’m a native Canadian, I’m Cree First Nations. And I just wanna say the maori culture and people are so beautiful I’m in awe❤️
The balls on the Dutch that colonized New Zealand ...imagine seeing a island full of enormous warriors doing a haka dance right as your about to invade
Umm it was Britain, not the dutch. the dutch were just the first europeans to find the coast first and name it. And Britain didnt colonise New Zealand; they just fought the maoris until the maoris had no real choice but to let them stay. Unlike most other places where Britain did that the Maoris fought well enough to get a treaty. Not sure if Maoris were as big back then as they are today. There wasnt a lot of protein on New Zealand until white people brought beef and sheep, which is why Maoris used to eat each other - they ate 11 of Captain Cook's crew. No disrespect for our kiwi cousins across the ditch (Im Australian) but Im pretty sure Maori size has increased a lot since the introduction of beef burgers.
@Darren Greenham What's the world's excuse then if it was just the beef or protein hmmm?
