This song took me back to a time when I was 20 and ready to take on the world. My friends and I always had a truckload full of pretty ladies and we would go up to the creek near our house and spend our summer days partying at the creek. This song was always playing in the background. I never thought those days would end but then again they really didn't, they just don't happen as often. Good times!

Dude I've grown up listening to sublime, the dirty heads , cage the elephant, nirvana, the rolling stones and more to be honest ived learned alot from these bands . I couldn't have asked for a better taste in music from my parents💞🤙.(even if I was too young to know what any of the songs meant😂) I still jam out to this song now in 2019💖

I love the juxtaposition of this song. Actually that's something that I really love in a lot of music. It's hard to say whether it's geared toward a specific event, but Bonnie and Clyde comes to mind. The tone of the song is so romantic and sweet, while the story is very dark. I don't know who wrote the song. But I think they had a specific feeling in mind when they did. What could be more romantic than LITERALLY taking the world on while your girl or guy is by your side all the way. It's horrible and narrow minded to see someone in your way as just an obstacle to overcome, which is probably the way most killers see other people. But for the piece of time when they were at that point, it was ecstasy for them. I feel like the setting sun in this song was death for them as well. It was an idea that was never reached. Or maybe it was. Either way, the song is great.
