I never understood why people got upset or cried over people they never met....i looked at them and thought to myself "what's the fucking point, they are strangers, you may as well cry about a man in China who has died"Then I was blindsided by the news of Chris' death, and I will openly say that after listening to his music and growing to love this man as a musician and a personal hero of mine, I'm not ashamed to admit I cried like a baby. I spent 6 months listening to nothing but a playlist of audioslave, sound garden and his solo work in a spiral. I understand those other people now, more than I ever thought I would.Its OK to need to reach out to people when you are in need, if anyone out there is struggling.. PLEASE reach out to somebody ANYBODY, because you don't know just how many other lives you have touched and just who will mourn your passing.
