Shelby . . . Playing an invisible instrument.
pressing some buttons.
he's not doing jack shit, his music is just copy and paste (anyone can do on a mac) so he surrounds himself with actual musicians for the live show, to compensate for his nonexistent musicianship.
If it really was copy and paste anybody could do on a mac, then just show us how easy it is. This sentence is typical of someone that has no knowledge whatsoever about music. A music like Dangerous is technical perfection; the mixing is perfect, the music is good, ... You really are just hating David Guetta for his fame. Maybe David was ghost produced, but no one has any idea about that. What you need to understand is that you can be a music genius without having ever played an instrument. You believe producers are talentless and just press random keys, but if it was that easy then everyone would do it and also become superstars. The art of producing requires knowledge and talent. You respect live musicians way more, but you forget that most of them "only" play aready-made pieces and have never ever created anything. Now I am not saying that David Guetta actually made his pieces, I have no idea if he was ghost produced or not, but people really need to stop bashing producers by claming that they "only copy and paste", that "anyone could do it" or that they are not musicians because "they don't play an instrument".
I've seen this a few times live (and love it like that) and am curious? David has never used his decks for this, only his synthed sets and drums which is obvious. But am I right in that there are TWO bassists following separate beats here? The one on the left is bass, no doubt there, but the one on the right I admit I keep trying to look closer as I would swear he's also bass, not acoustic. I'm just curious as it's quite hard to pull off TWO bass guitars following a different beat yet enhancing each other, that's pretty cool.
Am i blind? On the right there is a guitar-player and there is only one bassist on the left
there is a bit at 2.18 that where the bass is dropped, and then i noticed that a soft guitar sound(which i thought was sampled) came out. I guess the guitar is played sort of underneath the sample it seems. It is a guitar though.
Ahh, that's what I was wondering about, I noticed the same change there but barely as after breaking both ipad and laptop I'm back on the ancient Toshiba the kids use. It's damn annoying as I've changed the sound around and thankfully have Beats but even then volume is up to 80 to hear it decently and yep, bass is super heavy. I've boosted it as this clunker sounds bloody awful. I turned it off for a sec though and do hear it during the close up, the notes are unusually deep though or is that simply my settings?Hard to see at the best of times in this, I'm curious because a friend is a killer guitarist, most only hear his work in the 80's hits they had (know the song Send Me An Angel?) but when just jamming he's done a lot of what they had in the band (synth) and pure, pounding rock but I admit I haven't heard his full range of guitars, he's got an impressive range.Currently we have all his fans and even some of the guys he plays with thinking he's done the impossible and has "Nigel's guitar" aka Spinal Tap. Only bloke who got the joke was Boy George and told him to bring it on tour when they went lol.
