very wack.....um it's cool to see that he has duplicated his talk box tone on a vocoder ...but ahhh... come on he blew it on the talk box big time... not impressed at ....booooooooo ....

agreed! Its not the same without that actual tube.....

I think he might've been using a vocoder for this perfomance possibly...someone correct me if I'm wrong. He's not using the tube so the vocoder makes the most sense. I know Teddy Riley does talkbox live though...check the footage of their live performance of Don't Leave Me and you'll see him rockin the talkbox for most of the song. The band and singing drowns it out but you can hear quite a bit of it right after the chorus. Other parts you gotta really listen for it.
