Hello killerclam Just heard this on Golden Years Radio . net and all the 60's music that gets played takes me back to the good old days when I had a rock band called The Presidents. Our recording for Decca in 1965 was lost for 53 years and just released in June 2018 and Golden Years has included it in the playlist. Got the old band back together and made a video so it's me 78 miming to me singing 25 - great fun and who knows we might trend : -) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjcKGcM0Rtc Please spread the word and leave a comment if you can Thanks:)
real amrica gifted arted artist.
That band is so cool
Albert was hurt n still was blowing smoke.....his style is on point.
Why am I just now noticing he’s a lefty playing a righty?!
Then God created the Blues to ease our pain of this cruel, cruel world.
An absolute blues masterpiece. And he is playing with a bandaged finger, too.
I love Albert King's style. He was left handed, for those that don't know, he did not play a left handed guitar. He played a right handed guitar, he just flipped it over and played it that way. He was a bad man, he's one of my favorites.
Unforgettable lyric... becomes part of our everyday language.
King always plays this song at a much faster tempo than the original; still awesome though
Anyone notice Albert playing with a broken finger
albert is a goddamn god!
4:32 "Wine and women is all I crave. A big legged women is going to carry me to my grave." Still love this song 40 years later.
The reason I turn on my radio is for the blues what else is there LOL
Full grown man playing that guitar.
Albert King - 1981 - Born Under A Bad Sign..........

Me la dedico este loco !!! History of my life !!! un seco !!!
Saw him once atthe Dome Shawdows in Houston.
Salute Albert! You truly were a King. More than just the music you made; you were an influence!
Wow, now I know where the great Riff from „Layla“ by Derek and the Dominos / Eric Clapton is coming from. Amazing!
He was a bad ass....
Hell yes Born Under A Bad Sign and the Blues what else do ya Need Rest in ☮️ Albert Thank you 💙
He really did play an upside down guitar.
This is one cool ass guy. Everything about him is awsome. The fact that he can stand under them lights in a suit. He was the coolest guy.
I wish I had been there.

Les plus grands guitaristes de blues se revendiquent d'Albert King...http://rock6070.e-monsite.com/pages/folk-blues-1/albert-king.html
And he is playing a standard v upside down with the little ones on top. Crazy style!
what a great guitar player
The Velvet Bulldozer🎸🎵
blues means albert king
No fuss intended. This guy SRV looked up too. But in my opinion , and that's all it is , an opinion, I think Freddie was more 'fuck you' than albert. It shows when you see them 'live'. Peace.
what a treasure. The Flying V. The Song. & that Very Unique Gibson dog ear 330 on the surprise 2nd lead player's solo. big band. the whole ball of wax !
Very nice of Mr King to give the other guitarist some time for a solo.
them glasses are LEGIT!
Keep those blues coming...fantastic Albert King! I can hear SRV in there, so know where he got his influence from. Love this! Thank you Albert!
They don't make 'em like that anymore! Albert King is one of the greats. And Claude Morrow's guitar playing is just as amazing.
Is Albert playing with a broken finger?
looks like it
priceless!
Before Cream Wheels Of Fire and later Pat Travers.
Before Cream Wheels Of Fire and later Pat Travers.
Albert was so good he played with only 2 fingers in this performance! Incredible!
Velluto
One of the MASTERS !!
Damn right...
schelleymorrow, what a wonderful legacy Claude left his family & children.. he's great, never knew who he was-thanks for sharing this with us, will always love this band!
absolutely incredible !
my favorite black dude
what's that on his finger?
keeps jammed fingers in place
I saw Albert at a blue festival with Etta James many years ago. He kept breaking strings. He finally asked if anybody had any strings. Some dude in front handed him a pack. I'll probably never see that again.
my mannnnnnbnpaf
Never realized how his taller people with bigger hands have a way easier time bending strings because of their ability to place their thumb so high up on the back of the neck
And as I mentioned above, he had his guitar tuned three frets down. That makes it a hell of a lot easier to bend.
Totally badass
something is familiar with B.B.King, the guitar, the voice, the blues mood
This is blues.
Well, you sure are right about that, Sam.
4:05 :)
bad ass. not like these poser guys today . social media loving nike wearing pricks
Albert IS KING...........i love his music...
The Velvet Bulldozer
I remember being 15, camping in the woods with a friend of mine. I'd never really actively listened to music, only simple stuff like the Beatles and such. He took out his mp3-player with about 15% battery life left, made me listen to this song with the last bit of battery life that was left. I was bought right away, I'd never heard anything like it before. From that moment on, I became an active blues listener, which I still am today.
^ BOUNCE DAT BOOTY ON A DICK!!!
President Donald J. Trump Good to know that the best president of all time also has good taste in music
Cream did a version of it. Check that out.
It takes only a few seconds of the right song
His support guitar player tore holes in it... proper good like.
I wish acdc concerts were like that, everyone sitting quietly enjoying the show, instead of screaming and throwing their arms in others faces! They ruined the show for me!
It is rock n roll man haha u sound like a prude
man dude that comes in at 4:06 into this video was ON 1 all up in the video
Albert King was grooving to the guy's playing too
one of my favourite blues songs of all time
tuff stage audio... good good band!

Albert King- No pedals, Not an amazing guitar, No pick, and still sounds amazing
Lucy may not have been a "stunningly incredible" guitar but he really made the V famous for its unique sound and reverberation. He made that guitar great.
And his guitar is upside down.
The guitar is an Erlewine guitar..An amazing, Flying V copy, built by a world class luthier. Billy Gibbons plays many of his builds. And the pedal Albert is using is a Phase 90, prominent in the sound..
Clapton too
Something wrong with his ring finger?
Had the good fortune of seeing Albert King at a small club in Detroit called Ethel's Lounge in the mid seventies.....went to two different shows . What a great venue . If my memory serves me I think the Bar Kay's backed him.....any one out there verify that. I actually still have ticket stubs from both shows . Such a great memory.....
The guy at 2:39 is a version of SRV.
listen to his whole album yesterday on Virgin America airlines flight
The man of the men!d=(^o^)=b
ชอบทุกแนวเพลงที่จัดมา.ขอบคุณอีดครั้ง...สุดยอดจริงๆ/
me TOO!!!!!!!
Playing with that hurt finger and all!
Albert is bad
107 people thumbs down wow!
Who's the other guitarist who slayed the solo on the Gibson?
Claude Marrow. His wife posted a comment on this video. Great player.
Terrible.
you're terrible.
If it wasn't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all... Great line!
Who doesn't love him!!
saw Albert live at the Shrine Aud, in LA in 1968 !!! I became a blues fan that day. He was opening for the rock band Cream ! What a show ......
one of the greatest
