I respect them for wanting to evolve and not box themselves in and repeat themselves, but I honestly haven't fell in love with a band the way I did with them in the 2014-2015 period in so long. I was awaiting every single new song they put out with baited breath, and buying every song the second it came out.I really like Youngblood, but it doesn't captivate me the way the old stuff did. Easier is basically a Charlie Puth song. and Teeth took a while to grow on me but it's pretty good and really unique.But I just don't feel the same anymore. I'll still be lining up to buy their new albums whenever they come out (they're my 2nd favorite band after all), but the new stuff just doesn't appeal to me as much anymore. It's just a matter of taste, but I still feel the same way listening to their old stuff as I did back then... and if they ever decide to do pop-punk stuff again I'll be more than here for it.
