so.... anyone know what key this is in?
All of them
Think he could play some Boogie Woogie ?
I was at Berklee with Aydin. I always thought he was going the be the next Chick Corea; a monster player, but also a great composer and phenomenal improvisor; somehow it never happened for him. I have this record, bought it when it came out, and you can sort of hear why he never became another Chick. Part of it is the world changed, but part of it is the personality you hear here; every bit as talented, but more inward looking...
This playing seems to be on a whole other level from Chick's. I would say he's more talented in every way from what I've seen of his improv skills. I think the world just isn't ready for this yet... reminds me of when Marty tried doing Van Halen licks during his time travel to 1955. Undiscovered prodigy...
This is pretty *nifty.*
Yesssssss 👍🕺🏻🎹🥁
O.k. Seriously, transcription of intro please? I am going to work on it but if you have, then please help. This is such a blessing in my life. Thank you Aydin.
Anthony Andorn I’ll give the transcription.. for 100€ 😂
@Tom Temiz You know, I can't afford that, but I'd still take it ! Up to this very day !
Wonderful

My favorite pianist has always been Bill Evans without a doubt. But now... I'm not so sure, honestly! Everything Aydin plays is interesting to me all the time. Mind expanding.
Came here thanks to Rick Beato

rick should listen to more frank zappa !
what has Frank Zappa to do with this?
Aydin Has Spoken....
You can't teach this...
I believe pretty firmly that with a high degree of obsessive focus and time to pursue it...and an efficient method...something akin to this could be learned through effort. But few people have that kind of time available.
in a different way, i'd suggest no person could accidentally write this
"I cannot teach you. I can only help you to explore yourself."
Sung Studios pervert
@Space Homie Someone told me that Aydin played the Bartok 1st Piano Concerto with the Bilkent Philharmonic at 13. He started studying at a Turkish conservatory aged 5. At 19, he graduated Berklee in a year, and Julliard in not much less. You can't teach that. I think he's on the spectrum, as they say, which might be some consolation to those of us who wish we were that good....
thanks for your music. really good stuff
One of a kind...Great musician.
Aydin ustadim, , you are beyond words.
